Daddy's birthday

Ever since I had my birthday, I've been a little obsessed with Daddy's birthday. I kept telling Mommy that I wanted Daddy to have a birthday too and that we needed to go to Wal-mart to get him a Buzz Lightyear.

I finally wore Mommy down and she said we could have a surprise party for Daddy since he would be deployed for his real birthday. She took me to the store and I picked out a Finding Nemo cake and a purple balloon. Mommy bought Daddy a Chicago Bears football jersey like mine.

When Daddy came home, he was really surprised! I think it made Daddy really happy. But I think he was more impressed that Mommy kept a secret that long! Normally, she gives it away.
